Annual Events

There are several Annual Events, Shows and Sales that are very Popular and frequented regularly by our clients: -

Limousin Society France

Limousin Bull Sales at Lanaud

There are 8 bull sales every year at Lanaud, the Limousin and Interlim Head Quarters, just a few Kilometers from Limoges.

The 8 sales are held 4 times a year with 2 sales within the same week – one is for the RJ Bull – best of the selection and the second sale in that week is for the Espoir Bulls which are rated second to the RJ

We can arrange your tour around any one of the sale weeks and including the 2 sale days and also include some exceptional Farm Visits. We work closely with Interlim the Genetics division of the French Limousin Society who are responsible for the selection and testing of the Lanaud Bulls for sale. Interlim assist us in selecting our farm visits to suit your breeding preferences.

Limousin National Show and Sale

The Limousin National Show and Sale is held in September each year and in different locations in France. (Except when the Limousin Breed is the feature breed at the Sommet De L'Elevage Show in Clermont-Ferrand, One of Europe’s largest Agricultural Shows, specifically aimed at the Livestock breeder. The show is always held in the first week of October.

We can Organize your tour around whatever city the National Show is held and include all the quality Farm Visits and other Agri-Industrial visits to suit your exact requirements.

Charolais Society France – Charolais Expansion

The Charolais National Show and Sale is held in September each year and in different locations in France. (Except when the Charolais Breed is the feature breed at the Sommet De L'Elevage Show in Clermont-Ferrand, One of Europe’s largest Agricultural Shows, specifically aimed at the Livestock breeder. The show is always held in the first week of October.

Salers Society France

Salers National Show and Sale

The Salers National Show and Sale is held in September each year and in different locations in France. (Except when the Salers Breed is the feature breed at the Sommet De L'Elevage Show in Clermont-Ferrand, One of Europe’s largest Agricultural Shows, specifically aimed at the Livestock breeder. The show is always held in the first week of October.

The "Fête de l'Estive" in Allanche

Celebrated in May every year this is an event not to be missed a short break to join the French Salers Breeders in the Allanche region when they take their cattle up into the mountains – and a celebration of great food and wine follows. Assisted by the French Salers Society we will also arrange some great farm visits to quality breeders – during the 2019 Salers Tour we visited this region and it is truly spectacular – ideal to shake off the hard work you have endured in the winter and early spring

Sommet De L'Elevage Show

Held in the first week of October each year the 3 day Sommet Show is one of the most important Agricultural Shows in Europe – especially for the Stock Farmer.

Each Year the show host’s the National Show for a particular breed of cattle and we organize a 5-day tour to Clermont-Ferrand to visit the show and some excellent farm and other Agri-Industrial Visits.
